I think it’s normal to get an engine in steam early, allows time to deal with any small problems. Tomorrow will be FTR exam, then off on Tuesday

Any update on 45212 returning south from Fort William to Carnforth. Or has this move already happened, but nobody has mentioned it?

Re "Bananas", it's shown as 715 tons but presumably it's just engine and coach tomorrow?

Loco is still in Fort William. Latest information I was given is that No. 45212 will remain until end of season, as back up to No. 45407 and No. 44871.

Yes it is as far as I know. It says pathed as diesel train at 715 tons, that means it’s the maximum load allowed on those timings

A Jubilee reversing at Guildford. A first, or if not about as unusual as it gets?

Not sure but I know it’s doing at least one photo charter while it’s down there so it won’t be immediately after the gala. The good news is it’s passed it’s FTR and is now well on its way south, running 10min early

As John said above it looks like it will be after the 23rd October as there were tickets for sale for a photo charter with the Jubilee on the 23rd on the MHR website Calendar.
The booking option has been removed from the calendar now which probably means the charter has sold out.
Can't find anything in RTT for the return run just yet, probably too early.

Hopefully the return journey to the KWVR will be in Daylight as I would love to see 45596 before she returns home.
