I thought that there was a Dalesman on the 25th August but it appears not.
    Is this correct?

The Dalesman on the 25th August disappeared from RTT and the West Coast booking web site several weeks ago.

    Good evening all,

Did anyone here or anyone you know go to Mossy Bottom on Tuesday and drop an Camera Memory card?

The below has been posted on Facebook by Dan Stanyon

    Posting for a friend.....
    I need some help chaps
Yesterday i found a Sandisk 32GB SD Ultra Memory Card in the car park area for Mossy Bottom it has pictures plus video on it from the tour that 46115 had done on Tuesday it also has pictures dating back to 2018 on it
I would like to get it back to the owner as I reckon there a couple of thousand pictures on it the only media source i have is Flickr and i dont think that will help anyone.
Please pm me if you have any info also please share.

So this is me hoping to help reunite the Photographer/Videographer with there lost card. - Happy to act as a messsenger to Dan via Facebook if needed.

    Thanks everyone

I'm booked on the Dalesman on the 8th September but I'm travelling during the preceding seven days (Sleeper-Jacobite-Fort William-Glasgow-York-Waverley-Chester). Will I need to contact wcrc for alternative ticketing arrangements?

I would suggest that you call WCR a few days before explaining the situation and ask them to tell you the coach and seat numbers. They may also email the information to you, so as long as you have the coach and seat info which matches the coach stewards seating plan with the name of the person who booked you are OK. But at Carlisle station last week passengers needed to be able to show proof that were booked in order to get back onto the platform. The Email should suffice for this.

I can confirm that having gone last week. No ticket, no getting on the platform, and if you have arrived by train, the staff are incredibly strict.

Is it too early to say what's going to be on Tuesday's train?

Has there been anything stirring within Steamtown for tomorrow's train?

Probably in memory of fireman Mick Middleton who passed away recently.

In memory of and tribute to Mike Middleton I would imagine. Beautiful wreath and Guardsman looked extra clean and shiny to me today.
