    Thanks for the kind words.

Jigsaw puzzle would be a good idea, but I'm not sure I'd have the patience to do it !

This shot nearly didn't happen, as 2 seconds after 44871 had gone beyond the bridge, a SouthEastern unit going the other way blocked out the view completely.

It is a lovely overall image and press the shutter just at the right time too. A fraction of a second later and loco touches the r/h bushes.
(I think it would of been better if the rods had been on the up motion and therefore not clashed with the fencing but there is nothing you can do about that, as it is just pot luck! We all see things differently).

We were being assisted but not to the extent that the 57 was completely propelling the train but as your video shows, we were certainly having a go considering the load and the gradients involved. To expect 48 to take that consist alone would have been asking too much but overall it was a brilliant day, the passengers had a great time for a brilliant cause over an interesting and challenging route. It's always good to look out the cab window and see the tracks disappear in front of you or suddenly shoot upwards.

    Hi Dave

Took your suggestion - thanks. Here's the result.

It killed a few hours of boredom during lockdown.

    Cheers!

Excellent, definitely a help during this current situation. I assume you just had the one puzzle made?
