Hi all. I am trying to find a signal arm bracket, the arm I have suits this exact bracket shown on the attached photos. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly received. P5300032.jpg P5300030.jpg P5300026.jpg P5300030.jpg P5300032.jpg

Not that knowledgeable regarding signalling but it looks like a standard LMS / BR bracket. You could write directly to Railtrack as they will dispose of these as re- signalling takes place. Alternatively contact a few Preservation lines as they might have a spare which they might let go (at a price). Long shots I know.
Probably worth giving Mike Soden at GCR Auctions a ring he has a lot of contacts and might be able to point you in the right direction particularly as there are specialists in the field that, to them, this bracket will be unexceptional and have spares.
Sorry can't be of more help.

The photo shows an upper quadrant arm casting for a ex-MR wooden square post, LMS/BR(M). What type of post are you wanting to mount the bracket on?
There are various versions of these brackets by the various regions and pre grouping companies. I know the LMS/BR(M) had at least two versions to suit round 5" and 5 1/2" steel, plus at least one for the concrete posts.

Thanks for the post TseTT Sorry for the late reply I had lost notifications without knowing!
To be honest I will make the post match the bracket so if you know of any versions out there I'll have it (as long as it will fit the signal arm)

    Hi all
Well here we are kind of post lockdown and I thought I would resume my hunt for this elusive bracket !
Before we entered this strange Covid world I had just about exhausted all your very helpful suggestions and contacts without success.

At the risk of asking too much I don't suppose anyone has any other new trails or contacts for me to find one these brackets?

    Thanks again in advance
    Mike
