We must have met yesterday on the lane - you mentioned the slight glint then!

Is it me or has this appeared very blurred here? It was sharp when it left me, honest! Today's 'The Railway Centre' 'Picture of the Day', too.

Lol yes originally was going to go on the bridge but as the platform wasn't busy went down there instead! Gomshall is so quiet happy to leave the second camera elsewhere and my wife and son were in the shelter on the other platform anyhow just in case!

If that wreath fell off there would have been some confused signallers along the route with the revised head-code (if there had been any signal boxes left staffed by anyone who knew the head-codes)! Actually, I think only Reigate now has a local 'box on the whole route?

Absolutely many a time I abandon them with the second camera and wonder off elsewhere!

A delayed upload from me of the last run of the year on the 14th at Albury. Hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas and here's to 2020.

    If this works, about here?

It's the field the Redhill side of Blackheath Lane if you mean the foot crossing just above the Lane. Foot path from the foot crossing goes over Blackheath Lane just south of the railway and into the field seen above. It does require some height such as a step ladder and I imagine it won't be long in the Spring before that vegetation in the foreground grows up again.
