The confirmed times have appeared on VTs website but not yet on RTT. Any thoughts.

No. Phoned VT and was told the tickets went out first class yesterday. Didn't arrive today but should tomorrow.

A slight amendment to the route back was needed due to flood damage to electrical equipment on the threyberg branch.

Great shot! You were lucky the sun wasn't shining too brightly into the camera. I was a few chains further north at Langley Mill station and the clouds parted briefly just before she passed. Luckily it clouded over again almost immediately. With the sun so low and straight into the camera I was just getting my excuses ready for having made an arty film :D

'The Christmas White Rose' hauled by GWR No.7029 'Clun Castle' seen racing by Ulleskelf, heading for York on the 14th December 2019. What a racket it made.

To say it was breezy today would be an understatement, I only made the decision to go airborne one minute before she came noisily came round the corner at Ulleskelf, the sound was superb for the last sprint into York.

i get back to Ilkeston at 8:50pm only to my horror that northern cancelled the last Nottingham Leeds service train so i got a taxi to chesterfield it cost me £55 and luckily got the last east midlands train back to leeds but apart from that dilemma a great day out on clun castle yet again and i hope for other fellow passengers on the V.T. white rose tour also.

    Warning, thread drift:
What a nightmare. As your service train was cancelled I would hope that the cost of your taxi would be paid by the rail operator.
Save your ticket and the receipt for the taxi as proof of purchase and then put in a claim. <BJ>
