Metroland and Quainton Sunday 25 August and Bank Holiday Monday 26 August 2019.
The train runs London Marylebone via the Metropolitan Line to Quainton Road. Passengers can then either visit the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre's 50th Anniversary Weekend (More info https://bucksrailcentre.org/product.php/44/50th-anniversary-weekend) or stay on the train for a trip to Watford via the Watford North Curve.
The 4TC is top and tailed by 2 class 20 locos and a class 33 loco.

Must admit I don't usually go deliberately after non-steam haulage, however I got back to Farnborough just in time (from capturing the 8F at Henley) to see this one, on 28th July 2019. Kind of interesting as 73201 "Broadlands" (as 73142) hauled Prince Charles and Lady Diana out of London (through Farnborough) after their wedding on 29th July 1981.

I tried to catch the morning ECS, however I didn't plan for them setting off early - oh well, some shots from the actual railtour will have to do instead (Farnborough & Potbridge)

Is there now a ban on the 4TC being propelled, owing to crash-worthiness issues perhaps? I'm wondering if there is a chance of seeing a main line working with it leading.

It's a lack of modern signalling equipment in the cabs that prevents the 4TC being propelled on the main line.

But between 0800 and 0900 looked just like it did in that shot at Hersham.
