Away from the Chertsey water stop tonight on time.

    Many thanks.

From what I could tell from the signalling replay software we have at work it looks as though it was given the RA to depart Waterloo, then held at the next set of signals just before the junction to Platforms 20-24 for a service coming up the Windsor Reversible which the charter was booked down.

All 3 Windsor Shuttles, firstly at Kensington and South Acton, Clapham Junction and Sunnymeads. Evening run captured at Reigate with the B1 making a great sound up the gradient into the station!

A few shots from last night's Sunset Steam Express - I decided to go for the bad side (for the light) of Richmond Railway Bridge, having been on the good side for an earlier evening tour. The other shots are from the footbridge near the cemetery at Chertsey.

Looks like we were only a couple of bridges apart! My view from Colley Lane, near Reigate...

Looking at the morning ECS for todays trip to Dareham. Does anyone know if the train is required to reverse at Bow Junction (meaning Mayflower leading over the North London line) or is it a direct route from the North London line into Liverpool Street?

Thanks, at that time in the evening in that location, the sun is not directly on the camera due to some trees but does light up the side of the loco and carriages making it a classic 'glint' location.

B1 sounded in top form up Brentwood bank. Plenty of noise up front.

Can anyone confirm what 61306 is wearing today? I.e. Eastern discs/Cath Ex headboard? Popping over to the MNR to catch her later.

Lovely stuff! From what I've seen most of the time the loco coasts almost all the way to the level crossing, so you got really lucky there!

*Just left Wymondham 31L, I wonder what the hold up was?

First problem was when we left Norwich. Signaller sent us straight south instead of to Wensum Jn to reverse. So steam was at back at Dereham. Much shunting to get steam to other end for water, then back again. Then had to turn the train when we got back to Norwich. Then held for several other trains before allowed to leave. Then slow start. Some pax off at Ipswich for fast service train to London.

Diesel failed at Ipswich. Decided to bail and catch service train back to Liverpool Street.

Apparently the B1 has failed according to a GA member of staff?
