Aye. If the OTT signal maps are to be believed, nothing behind 60163 for miles.

I think the slow line limit is 80, so 127 looks out of reach this trip.;) But with a rapid changeover at P'boro they can get to the 4 track section beyond Conington without needing to hang about. So 2245 at KX not out of the question with a run at Welwyn.

14.5 mins Stoke to Tallington is around 65 average.

There's a PBO to KGX Thameslink due off PBO at 2124, I think that will go before Tornado.

    It has.

Passed Lolham LC a few minutes ago, hardly seemed to be making any effort at all :)

It seems to be chasing 1P69...

Can she run Newark- Kings Cross without more water, as that is what RTT are suggesting

That said... is that it sitting at Conington? It's not being held for 1P71 out of PBO @ 21:54, surely?

Looks like she's been looped at Conington. RTT prediction is/was that she'd go straight through. If not, more delay.

Maybe slightly surprising - could easily have made Huntingdon before other services needed to pass.

Was she watered northbound at Conington? Is the extent of a safe margin northbound Grantham and Newark southbound because of the easier grades? But I still can’t remember a non stop water Newark- KX.

There's also a couple of fasts approaching - 1L16 and 1A49, both at Helpston as I type. Looking at RTT it looked like it was scheduled for a pathing/water stop - as originally scheduled.

She'd have made the four track section at Huntingdon well before those were anywhere near her. I wonder if this an extra water stop.

There is no northbound loop at Conington. Any water stop in the area is made on the down slow just before it goes to two track at Holme. As it is, no stop was made there this morning. Going by booked times, the water stop was at Newark UPL.

Yes, the booked times show the train being looped but after the delays, RTT was predicting she'd miss it out and continue non stop. Seems that was false hope or a change in mind at Control.

She's on her way again. Quick splash and dash?

Thanks for that. When I looked at RTT it showed planned loop at Holme this morning, I didn’t notice it had been omitted.
