Mentioned in our local rag today that Galatea is working some SSEs this summer along with the odd Dalesman.

For Galatea is it a 7-year or 10 year mainline ticket?

Usually 7 on a mainline ticket and a 10 year boiler certificate after a heavy overhaul on all loco,s and if the loco,s boiler passes a inspection after 7 years in service the loco gets a 3 year extension on its mainline ticket. 45699 has had a 3 year extension to her mainline ticket until 2023 not sure though which month up until in 2023 to be exact.
