Interestingly it's been noted on here that it is 44871 and 45407 going north to Fort William next week. Uksteaminfo does not show 44871 on the Jacobite at any point this year and instead shows 45212 alongside 45407. Any reason for this?

And the reason you're getting flak is other members have great difficulty in reading what you DO post, there is absolutely minimal punctuation, no separate sentences, no capital letters etc, the list just goes on and on into meaningless rambling and speculation. The moderators are having a hell of a job trying to make sense of your posts and endless uninformed speculation.
Hell, a very well respected WCRC official has even asked/told you to stop the uninformed speculation because it's causing problems for people at the sharp end.

Apologies to members but it had to be said so it might as well be me that's doing the saying.:(

And to be clear to everyone, the moderators have given quite detailed and helpful private information to @Davo about exactly how Nat Pres works and how to stay 'between the lines'. Based on evidence that is being ignored.

There is no 'right' to post on here as folk can view content without contributing. But the site only works well if it operates at a higher standard than other chat rooms. People have to step up to the mark as a result.

Meanwhile, back to LE/ECS matters please.

Why not? It's a slightly more interesting view than the traditional three-quarter. I am still bloody sore that Snappy Snaps ruined my photo of one of the Big Red Engines running tender-first on the Spalding-Peterborough line...

Obviously dyslexia is against forum rules ! Keep posting in whatever form you feel comfortable, though the need to reign in on speculation isn't to far off the mark. Some speculation is fine, it's what creates discussion and without it, many forums would be boring place. Now, does anyone know if Mallard is on the Saphos trip out of Crewe tomorrow ??

45212 is facing north at KWVR, that makes it a c/f run to Carnforth

Obviously not, otherwise another well known member would create problems and he does not. Please don't muddy the waters with side comments.
