Well maybe the EU flag is a nod to the fact that Mr Hosking's company is registered there (Dublin) and not the UK...
I wonder if, to capture the spirit of Brexit, the red parts of the coaches will be painted dark passport blue mid journey.

People who love steam locomotives come in many forms and have various political views. Some people would say we're a strange lot. Can we not rejoice that at least one of us is rich enough to pay for a steam excursion that we can all enjoy watching? The headboard is hardly likely to influence anybody's political views and anyone who finds it offensive probably struggles to appreciate tolerance and a sense of irony. Hoskins is setting himself up for ridicule by using an obsolete form of transport to celebrate something that has not happened and may not do so, but I bet that doesn't stop him enjoying the trip.

Do you reckon passengers were allowed to leave the train at any point, or had to remain on board far longer than expected?

Apparently they all wanted to leave at different points and nobody could decide exactly where. :)

Uppermill Viaduct where the railway crosses the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.
Not working as hard as I would have liked but fortunately blowing off.

No need to worry about the rods on this one Henry ;)

Thanks John. As for him sat on the wall....well, there's always one. He wasn't setting a very good example to the many kids that were milling around.

The last four coaches appeared to be completely empty, so clearly a lot people maybe more than half "remained" behind ...

Here is my amended effort at Marsden, that radio mast and generator box is a bit of an eyesore.
