    I am trying to locate a vacuum brake valve assembly suitable for an 1951 EE diesel electric shunter, can anybody give me assistance with this?

    Was it originally fitted with vac brakes? If so I would imagine that a valve from a later '08' type would be much the same?

    The loco is a type 013 which had air brakes only. The intention is to fit a vacuum system so that coaches can be hauled. I understand the control valve controls both the loco air brakes as well as the train vacuum brakes. It is this control valve I am trying to locate.

    You are of course right the loco is a class 011, my mistake.
