    As at 17th February:
During Flying Scotsman's five days of operations 649 seats [out of 650] have been sold for the Observation Coach with only one left available for Breakfast Pastries on Monday 25th March (10:05 departure).
Around 60% of all other tickets sold. About a third of the remaining 40% are on Tuesday 26th - which might be expected I guess.
Whether there will be a 'Black Friday' type seat promotion for that day I don't know.

It seems rather odd that for the Saturday and Sunday of the Sprint Steam Up, it is planned to replace 31806 with a diesel.

Busy few days for reservations apparently -
Over 6,850 tickets sold and around 2,500 seats remain during the 5 days of Flying Scotsman hauling trains.
Trains over the weekend of 23/24 March now have less than 100 seats available (some trains having only 4 or 5 seats left).

Not so far as I'm aware as all the coaling/watering/servicing facilities are at Swanage.
Why do you ask the question?

According to the website FS running light engine each day from Swanage to Corfe during the Gala. Presumably more secure in Swanage.
