Can anyone list the steam locos owned by West Coast/David Smith at present, ideally I would also like to know when they joined the West Coast fleet.

    Thanks

I'm sure someone can give the exact dates but here we go.
48151- Ex Barry, returned to steam mid 1980's.
5972- Again ex Barry returned to action in about 1997?
44932- has an association with Carnforth going back to 1968, acquired by WC Mid 2000's
    45596- Early 2000's?
    35018- Early 2000's?
    46115- As above?
This is just a rough guide, I'm sure someone else can give more specific dates.

Not sure when they were all bought but I think this is all the steam loco's owned by David Smith/WCRC.

    45699 Galatea
    44932
44767 George Stephenson (purchased a few months ago)
    48151
    46115 Scots Guardsman
    5972 Olton Hall
35018 British India Line (I think was purchased in about 2012)
34016 Bodmin (purchased a couple of years ago)

34067 Tangmere always gets me slightly confused as I've seen it mentioned as being owned by David Smith/WCRC but also that it's owned by a friend or associate of David Smith.

Not quite, it went to Southall for overhaul but it's been bought back by the Mid Hants.

73096 has never been owned by WCRC. It was taken to Southall by John Bunch, who later sold it to the MHR.

I was under the impression it was still owned by John Bunch, but that its boiler is to be used on 34016. I know its been reported that that 34016 had been bought by David Smith but hadn't seen anything about 34073 being bought as well.

Thanks for the help. Gives me a much clearer idea of what they have.
