    No.

It did. It ran to and from Chester. The RTT movements at Chester are shown as cancelled. <BJ>

It sounds like it completed that particular run. Whether it passed or not I guess is not the same thing.

Icons of Steam are quite good with relaying news that they can. They announced these test runs for today and tomorrow for example.

Wait and see I guess to find out if 45231 will be deemed fit for revenue earning.

45231 stopped about a mile south of Wrexham, (similar to the way the Brit did the last few times its been through). I was about a mile further down the line and it was really starting to motor up the grade when it passed me at Bersham colliery... sounding great. Fireman's side drain cock stuck open in proper LMS fashion.

DSC_3064 45231 Gobowen bw 060219.JPG Today's test run around the circuit appears to have gone ok (fate tempted there) with an early arrival back to Crewe.
On time this morning at Gobowen making a rather smoky passage through the station !

Jesus, are those remaining the relevant ones? Tests went fine https://twitter.com/IconsOfSteam/status/1093162432422440961 Is it me or does the number spacing on the cabsides look too tightly together?

Seems odd that the five needs external tank on tender whilst the Riley ones have managed without, seems odd to redesign something which has been done successfully before but hey ho.

You call her Braunton - I call her Braunton - but Icons of Steam still try to kid the world that she is Lord Dowding. Is there any chance that she will resume her correct identity anytime soon?

And here was me hanging on to a shred of hope they'd taken this winter period opportunity to switch her back. It's gone beyond the 50th anniversary of the End of SR Steam and the 100th Anniversary of the RAF. I hope this isn't another 45699 situation where she'll remain as she is because ''someone likes her that way''...
