So with two weeks to go for the rescheduled gala, do we know if it will definitely be only a home fleet gala now?

If so, what are the loco's likely to be rostered ?

Even without visiting locomotives that's a cracking line up, especially with three locomotives that are the sole surviving examples of their class.

I realise the timetables wont be finalised for a while, but does anyone know, roughly, what times train services start and end on Autumn Gala days?

I'm looking forward to this but...(and forgive me if I'm wrong as I don't understand carriage codes)...I can't see the RBR. Does this mean no breakfasts on the train?

i should add at this point that the on train catering is an especial highlight of the NNR, so that would be a very big shame...for me

I'm looking forward to sampling 53809 at some point too, any news on whether the long term contract on it staying in Norfolk's been taken up?

Looks like no on train catering, as question posted on FB.

Sarah Mayes Will any of the trains include the buffet car....like they have had at the spring gala? Looked at timetable but not sure which would have the buffet / dining car

North Norfolk Railway PLC Hello Sarah, Sorry no there will be no buffet/dining car this time as the carriages will be needed for the Murder Mystery train over the weekend.

As already stated 53808 is still around too. But 53809 is the only 7F in East Anglia, and as I've never seen one in the flesh before I'm looking forward to seeing it too.

*Update on website, 53809 will no longer run in the gala due to problems, will be replaced by the WD*

It's a good job the timetable is always packed at the NNR gala as they've not had much luck with the locos....and a good job the home-based unique B12/3 Y14/J15, N2 and quad arts are a pretty good line-up, without visitors and new additions to the home fleet. I'll be there on Saturday anyway and I'm sure it'll be great...I think I'm more peed off about the lack of a breakfast on board than 53809...Actually maybe not, but it is a close run thing

At least its a simple swap changing the 7f for the wd, kinda a good thing it wasn't featured in the first place.

It's actually amazing that they have such a strong home fleet now that 2 down (Ollie C and 809) and they can still field (all being well...please) 6 interesting main line locos...Doesn't seem long to me since the days of John D Hammer and Harlaxton...I guess I am officially an old git

One more question. Does Holt footbridge exist yet?

Pretty sure it doesn't. Unless they put it up unannounced since my last visit 6 weeks ago.

Think it's planned to go up over the winter months but may be wrong.
