I just want to say - having observed the proceedings from afar on twitter over the weekend - what a brilliant event and what a beautiful machine.

I don't think any of us actively seek to get another member 'disciplined', I know I don't. It seems as though there are some folk (for reasons best known to themselves) have an axe to grind with WCRC. That's sad, because without WCR we'd all be a hell of a sight poorer.
IMO James posted in good faith, and look where we are now as a result of (IMO) bloody mindedness towards WCRC.

End of as far as I'm concerned with this matter, just waiting now for Bahamas to be pounding up the S&C.....................double chimney and all.:)

When I googled LFC35028 it comes up with Richard Harnetty but you don’t mention a name so is that who you are referring to David ?

Why do you involve someone else when your video is being critiqued? Poor show, especially when it’s referencing Richard...

    I agree,
I don't honestly understand why people seem to have taken it up on themselves to argue over stuff, sure WCRC did a bad thing and have paid the price for it, and yeah ok, they also made RTC, VTL, STDR and every other Railtour Promoter pay the price for it too. But, it I think its safe to say WCRC have learnt their lessons and hopefully moved on :)

One thing I do hate about this hobby is the abuse between fellow enthusiasts. I find it disgusting, myself, I also do you YouTube videos, and the link for mine will be below this reply. My videos are usually around 5 - 20 minutes long depending, and tend to get reasonably good feedback in return. So can we please stop arguing and get back to enjoying these fantastic giants of steam :)

Jesus this is a cheery thread, arguing over a video whilst dragging a third party in who cannot defend themselves and seeing off someone who actually has factual information of interest.

Is this peak Nat Pres? - Good work folks.... :(

    I second that,
I only joined this group a few days ago (Yesterday I think it was) and already I'm seeing what I see and hear everytime I go out and about when filming YouTube videos, people moaning about locomotive owners and Train Operating Companies, and then you get those who moan about each other. Come on people, thought this hobby was suppose to be something to enjoy. :(

This is why I avoid the mainline steam section, what I read elsewhere is enough!

Meanwhile, back at the Ranch... I'm really looking forward to seeing 45596 out and about again, especially on the S&C. I well remember seeing it at Garsdale back in '96, but didn't have the photographic equipment I have now. A Green Jube on a maroon rake on the Midland Main Line is something to savour!

    Richard.

I thought that wasn't being made public until Thursday! The loaded test run is provisionally December 4th, Tyseley to Leicester rand back. It returns to Keighley on the 11 th, presumably engine and support coach only
