On the printed timetable some days were marked in Orange with a timetable TBA - November weekends for example however nothings showing in the website - will they actually be running on those days or not

 

Brilliant that amazing a great late summer weekend, and then the amazing 1940s weekend there’s is yet the autumn steam gala. What a fantastic September.

 

1944 or 2018. Thanks to all involved for a great weekend.

I note the price of the QB breakfast has risen fro £10 to £12.50 since the Spring gala. Even so I shall miss it as I am not yet fully recovered from my heart bypass. Previously it was £8. Good as it my be the rise is rather steep.

The QB seems to have had it's gala wings clipped. Not out at all on ASG Thursday, nor Sunday afternoon.

 

Disappointing after all the good work put in by you and Dee and the rest of the volunteer crew in the past.

 

Perhaps the change from volunteer crews to a commercial caterer has tipped the balance and made the QB unprofitable?

 

The official WSR PLC web site does say that cooked breakfasts are available all three days on the QB. It is only Friday and Saturday when lunch and cream teas are offered. That does sound like business sense to me. To keep it all profitable and therefore as an operational attraction is possibly why the prices have increased.
Of interest how do those arrangements compare with previous years?

 

Oh that's disappointing, I was wanting to go on the QB on the Sunday afternoon of gala for birthday treat

 

Even more disappointing is the fact that there will no wheelchair access to the sets including the QBduring the gala. What idiot made that decision? Thoughtless and outrageous.

 

What, no wheelchair access to any trains over the gala?
