    The Ffestiniog was on Countryfile yesterday in connection with a day trip out for people suffering from Alzheimer's. An interesting feature and some nice shots of the line.

    I noticed that the current opening to Something Special features Justin Fletcher walking along a platform singing 'Hello, hello, it's good to see you' as a Pacer pulls into shot. I can only think that he can't ride on them very often - or it is a Northern service and so he is just glad for anything to turn up.
