We also host days at the Jurby Transport Museum here on the IOM for school children and do find talking with the teachers and other staff is always beneficial to both parties .

Can anyone please confirm the closing date of online tickets for the steam rally at norton next weekend

  4. Just in case the online booking facility closes, I would recommend booking now to avoid disappointment:

    http://www.steamrally.org.uk/b-tickets.htm

P.S. Just found this in the T&Cs:

The online ticket process will be available from Spring 2018 until 10am on 1 August 2018. Any online transactions after 10am on 1 August 2018 may not be processed. Purchasers are required to print a paper copy of their online ticket and to bring the paper copy to the Rally Gate for validation.

Does anyone know if 'Freedom of the line' tickets can be bought at the stations, or are they just on-line, advanced booking.
The website seems to indicate it's online only.

  11. Railcam's scheduled re-launch of their website is underway - most of it seems to be working OK - but the 'partner' feeds (for example, to wsr.org.uk ) have yet to be re-tuned. This the WSR webcams have not been online for a good part of the day. Sorry for the delay but the Railcam guys are doing their best, as ever.

I can't get onto the site Steve.

I'm a fully paid-up subscriber but all I get is "Forbidden. You don't have permission to access/site/on this server".

  13. Hi @Stef I guess you mean railcam.uk - try https://www.railcam.uk/ - it worked here although I had to change my password :(

Let me add my congratulations to the Blue Anchor team.
I have to say all of the stations along the line are amazingly well kept and a real credit to the teams that look after them.
All of these hard working guys and girls deserve a huge thank you from the rest of us volunteers I hope you'll all join me in this?
