    It's been good to see it in red but wouldn't mind it going back into BR black when fixed.

    I generally prefer the late BR liveries but I think it would be a terrible shame for the LMS red to be replaced. As the ELR flagship, it demands a special and memorable livery IMHO. There are very few locos which can authentically carry that livery and we had 10 years of 42765 in black.

    Please no!!! Why paint it so it looks like any other mixed traffic loco? It looks fabulous, unique and special. It has also had 10 years in black previously.

    What happened to 5199, I read somewhere this was due to be the summer loco at Bury?
