Times up on RTT, off Crewe 08.26 with over 4 hrs in Cardiff, 12.07 to 16.29, hope the weather in the Principality is kind, as that could end up a heavy afternoon in an alehouse of choice, keeping dry (on the outside)

And it appears that this will be with Braunton/Lord Dowding.

I’m booked on the 16 June trip but I really don’t fancy being stuck in a sealed mk2 with a WC Pacific up front. Is standing in the vestibule allowed (not leaning out of the window) with Saphos? Can anybody who’s travelled with them already comment?

Just do it, they can't force you to sit down. Fresh air is paramount when sealed in like that.

On 29th April I saw two people standing by one of the droplights and mentioned to them that some railtour operators are stroppy about that. Whether anyone told those two to move I don't know.

Pop into the support coach. I am sure they won't mind you standing at the window to hear Braunton at work. Hush. Keep it quiet though!!

That was quick Alan ! A good going away shot and good to have a natter this morning

A wider view at burgs Lane, and I've seen worse headboards, happy to see steam in Shropshire and on the Marches.

Looked fantastic coming into Cardiff and seemed to be making up time! Shame the focus in my photos was dodgy! Green 47 on the back. 12v2018 Lord Dowding 2.jpg 12v2018 Lord Dowding 3.jpg
