S160 performed well all day today. I think the engineering staff at MD should be congratulated. We're all very quick to complain if the timetable slips a little, so when the railway staff work through the night to ensure that guests don't go home disappointed they deserve a big pat on the back.

My footage of the Gala on Thursday including 6046 struggling up Crowcombe Bank with a broken drain cock and some spirited climbs up Washford Bank by Witherslack Hall and Foxcote Manor. Part 2 will feature the Gala on Sunday. Enjoy.

My footage from the Saturday. Highlights for me were the two Panniers, 7822 & 6990 double heading, and 6960 on the Quantock Belle set. I hope you enjoy! :)

Thanks to all involved in making the Gala happen. I went with no great intention of producing a video, I really wanted to see 6024 with its wheels back under but I had such a good day that heres my video of the day...

Spent Friday at the Gala, and it was great. The timetable allowed for rides behind all visitors, and each ride was a highlight! Well done, all concerned.

What happened to the Steam Bus? The children & I had fun riding to Dunster on it yesterday.

Next year what about a race at Dunster between th ebus and train?

Why is it that the sunshine and warmer weather always comes the day after the last day of gala?

Don't like it too sunny. Shiny locos and sunny sun don't go well for photos.

My footage of the Gala filmed on Sunday which included Double Headed Halls and a few long distance shots including 1450 at Bicknoller and 7822 Foxcote Manor climbing Washford Bank TWICE! Enjoy.

My shots from over the Friday and morning of Saturday. First time attending the railway for linesiding (although I did contribute by purchasing a booklet as well as my mum and dog riding the trains.) I will definitely be coming back after a great gala. Cannot fault the staff/members who were very helpful and all I heard was kind remarks about them! Ralph (my dog) had a great day out riding the train! Attached is my video as mentioned
