    I wonder if they'll turn No.9 at 10a?

Can't see any reason why not, 45mph on the WCML down to south of Wigan would I assume be hard to accommodate.

Edit - However RTT suggests that the move from York is due to arrive at the loops at 1602 and the move to Castleton (which is timed for 60mph) is due to set off at 1605 - so therefore in conclusion, no idea!

38L from Carnforth. Glad I didn't set off out now....took a leaf out of Henry Winskills book...looked at the cloudy sky and thought 'nah!'

Only 3L off Oubeck Loops, the original schedule strangely seems to have allowed 27 minutes from Carnforth to Hest Bank.......

RTT shows movement in and out of York Yard North from Holgate, with ample time, only my presuption buy guessing the time was taken turning both before departing Holgate the second time.

Is it a trick of the light or has 60009 had a bit of a whack on the front end? Just in between the fireman's side lamp and the high intensity lamp.

They liked the striped cab so much they decided to go with red and white stripes all over and a re-name?

Apologies for the thread drift - but if they did that they'd have to relegate the power classification...sorry Sunderland fans!
