Absolutely. It will be great if this thread shifts its emphasis from which colour the loco or nameplates should be to what great performances 35018 is putting up, starting with tomorrow.

That's cutting it a bit fine if she is to take over the CCE at Carnforth at 1050, nothing in RTT for a Saturday move yet?

The Railway Herald "Railtours" site shows Leander for both legs. Hope she fits?

I had heard that she wasn't gauged for the coast, but obviously that was just nonsense, be lovely to see her passing tomorrow.

From what I understand, that issue was resolved some time back.

I've also heard Galatea may pilot 35018 back from York.

If Galatea is coming back with the Lune Rivers it would make sense to at least double head it with BIL. What's the point in leaving BIL in York?

Really? Are you sure? I seem to remember other comments that Leander and Galatea were both cleared for the coast route - unless something has changed recently? But anyway, this belongs in the CCE thread, not BIL's...

I like it. But it's only just another day in the life of NP from those who seem to have more time on their hands than may be good for them. (No one in particular in mind as I say that :).)

I think that ship sailed 500 posts back, subsequent topics have included a good old fashioned spate of WCRC bashing, teak carriages and what members of the Merchant Navy get up to in York - with two of them over there tomorrow the good Burghers of York would be advised to lock up their daughters.

And Son, Grandmothers Mothers family pets , anything thats still breathing , Still if York survived the Vikings, i'm sure it will survive a visit from 35018, now, if 35028 was to turn up as well, thats a nother matter, then, anything that has, or had a 3 in fromt of it could be taken for booty and repatriated back down south, The Lune Rivers will have to rely on Jubilee power alone on the return, because Clan line and Bil will be heading back South together with the Q1, 737, 245, 34051 gladstone and boxhill oh and 12 mk1s
