A pity that this morning's signalling problems at Waterloo have messed up our schedule a bit - and the SWT timetable of course. But train going v well nonetheless. Also frustrating that the speed restrictions through Woking and esp Basingstoke wete an issue. We were measured by laser profiling a few weeks ago but seemingly NR are still working on 'old data' - maybe for the platform profiles too. Hopefully when they're 'up to speed' the restr

Ball firmly in court and between the tram lines for me at Brookwood. One of those pictures I never thought I would get again. The Belle with Clan Line on the main line.

    Jammy bu****!
My Dad and I did consider moving to the end of the platform. We were trying to judge which end would be best though. Would the SWT service go right up to the signal at the country end and block the view or would it clear 35028 at the London end? It seems either end would have worked Doh! I hope we have better luck later.

Lovely one. Old meets new and by old I'm talking about the SWT service. :)

My best shot from platform 3 at Vauxhall - loco looked superb and is a credit to the MNLPS and LNWR teams that overhauled her.

UKsteam.info suggests the 'belle' calls @ Southampton Central on return. Anyone know if that's accurate or not?

    Thanks,
    Matt

Here is my rapidly improvised shot from Brookwood this morning. Not as p***ed off about it as I was this Morning. At least I managed to get 35028 in the centre of the shot I suppose   It's different anyway. Hoping for better luck later.

That Sir is picture of the day for me. Superb.
Rather frustratingly we had originally intended to go to Winchfield but problems with my car at the weekend and an appointment my Father had this afternoon changed our plans.
