    Celebrating the locomotive pioneers from the Great Western Railway this special themed weekend will be a real hoe-down of both steam and diesel powered delight.

    No I do not currently volunteer
    D9551 now not showing on ELR web site. Also, the roster page has 34092 down for the weekend, with no mention of 813. Anyone able to clarify what is planned to be running for this event now?

    ELR diesel website updated 12/06/2017
    Class 14, D9551, visiting from the SVR is not able to run at the Western Wheels Event. Classmates D9531, D9537 will still feature along with GWR Steam locos 813 and 6990 Witherslack Hall. Standard Weekend fares apply. Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of June.

    ELR site still listing 6990 + 34092 for the weekend, no mention of 813. The roster page is not well maintained and often incorrect in my (humble) view.
