I think they need to water that big tree in the square pot, it looks dead to me.

I was just going to ask about speed restrictions, we went to Coppice Lane Reigate as I thought should be alright through Reigate as platforms are straight (OK that logic probably not great) but brakes were hard on passing me and crawled through. Are there any stations that are not speed restricted? Was hoping to go out again for the run Friday night. Also on the secrecy point all bridges in sight at Reigate were full however people had been waiting since 8am, and were looking in the wrong directions!

There is clearly an issue with FS. A bit of me thinks that it is an error in the original measurement of the locomotive and this is impacting on the outcomes from the gauging software. The other issue is that NR is probably now much more able to actually know what clearances are where and, of course, the moment that the computer says 'no' on the basis of the data it is provided with then there is no way that the information can be ignored.

But we also know about GIGO and that will be playing its part here, I am sure.

Here are two of my shots (low res versions) of Scotsman in the gloom of a summer evening at Potbridge last night. The restrictions are making it's appearances down South something of a joke as a few times now I have heard people saying "it's not exactly Flying is it!"

Some footage of Scotsman's circular tours yesterday. Captured tackling Gomshall Bank at Albury Heath, and then passing through Shawford in the evening. Interestingly, there wasn't as many people as expected at Albury, but it looked like the entire village of Shawford had come out to see it! Everybody behaved well though.

    Enjoy!

Only 6 of us on Palestine Bridge yesterday evening, and even half of that was just one family. It was like living in some alternate reality, where Scotsman is treated as "just another engine".

Ah likewise, and I was stood just a few yards to the left of you judging by your photos. It didn't help that the signal protecting Hook station was red until Scotsman had passed Winchfield. I was hoping she'd accelerate just a little after it went to double yellow, but alas no.

And here's my video, incidentally, but without the footage from Potbridge - it was too slow and undramatic for inclusion in the video!

Great video. Lovely sound on the second shot.
I didn't get time to set my video camera up as we were late arriving as we got caught up in traffic on the way over and then couldn't find anywhere to park. But as you say it wouldn't have been worth it anyway.
