Times are now posted for outward and return legs as follows, with Tornado on at Tyne Yard northbound and off at Doncaster southbound
    http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U63510/2017/05/01/advanced
    http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U63513/2017/05/01/advanced

At first blush, it seems that a very early start in the East Midlands delivers the benefit of a very decent three-hour stopover in Edinburgh; while from the briefest-of-brief glances at the intermediate start-stop timings, it looks like the Edinburgh-Tweedmouth/ Tweedmouth-Newcastle return leg presents the most challenging schedules of the day, not far outside even time order of magnitude.

So, 366 miles of Tornado haulage on the ECML. That, as they say, 'll do nicely!!!

Away from Tyne Yard at 10.01, late arrival of stock at journey start, seems to have had a knock on effect.

Not exactly ripping up the ECML at the moment. Latest from on board ...... "since T came on has kept good time, since then we had a level crossing failure and due to path changes we're stuck in a loop now for 4 northbound passenger trains - cruising at 75 when given the chance"

Return journey showing as cancelled on RTT - wonder if this is train related or
    network related?

Stock looks like it is back into the station, could be interesting tracking this as Tornado returns southward.
