Wasn't 1501 on the roster too? Admittedly for loco diagram 6, which means you're not likely to see her lineside unless you're up and about early.

Indeed. I think one of the regular Facebook photographers did catch a shot of her lineside over the weekend though. Must have been about 9.15am according to the WTT (her return trip would have been after dark of course).

Ok, her return trip would have been after dark if it was when the timetable said! :)

Share offer now at £636,000 after a month and a half, £1,864,000 to go in 10 and a half months http://www.svr.co.uk/ShareOffer1.aspx

We are on the look out please for items of furniture, fittings, artefacts and signage for the Bridgnorth development. As the groundworks continue the project team have turned their attention to items of that will be required. Donations-in-kind and sponsorship will help reduce the cost of this project. A 'help list' has been added, if you know of a particular item on this list we would be very grateful to hear about it.

This week (ending on 16th Dec) has produced an amazing spurt of progress as all except 5 of the 63 piles have been completed. Report at http://www.svrlive.com/bridgnorth-development

    Many thanks

These extra trains depart Kidderminster at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and depart Bridgnorth at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. These will feature 7714 on the 28th and 29th, 4566 on the 30th and 31st, and a Manor on the 1st and 2nd

    A reminder 4566 and 7714 double head on the 1st and 2nd

These will be 4566's last trains before her end of ticket

Bit of a duplicate post from the Flying Scotsman Thread, but having watched Flying Scotsman from the footplate (again!) I would just like to say I thought Roger and Ryan did a cracking job on the footplate and also promoting the SVR. Well done all involved I thought it showed off our little bit of England rather well. :):):)

I'm puzzled as to the difference between a silver pass and a good pass at the level that allows 1st class travel but not dining opportunities.

A glorious sunny day for the last day of the season, and 4566's finale, after some quick repairs. 7714 not out though.

Was at the SVR on Saturday and the railway was very busy. Hopefully a good end to the season revenue-wise.

I was the driver of 7812 on Thursday, 29th December, a truly vile day, weather - wise, (freezing fog, virtually all day), however, it was gratifying to see most trains were fairly well - loaded.

And mine was warm - eventually.

    Regards,

Has Arley changed much since filming of BBCs "oh doctor beeching", if I went there this year for first time visit on SVR would I recognise if from watching it on TV?

Not changed much. The "cottages" were film props and images can be seen here http://www.svrwiki.com/Oh,_Doctor_Beeching!
