    No I do not currently volunteer
    I'm sure that the manic interest in Flying Scotsman at the moment will gradually diminish as it did with Tornado.

    Give it twelve months and we'll be able to stand at a crossing with just a few others until Scotsman passes by .....won't we?

    Well, there were about 4 of us at Iver, Saturday morning plus one GWR guy who volunteered for crowd control as he'd never seen FS, and a few of the orange army who didn't even know she was passing through.

    I think I chose the right location! :)

    Be interesting to see what transpires this weekend..............

    I'm sure you are correct about the interest will diminish sooner or later. Surely this is when FS should be visiting our perserved railways. Which would give them a big boost to their bank balance.
