The times for todays Cathex PAD to BTM never appeared on RTT, nor did any of the ECS moves. A poster on here pointed out that they were on Open Train Times, and indeed they were and were suitable updated as the tour progressed. I wasn't aware that OTT was now showing non scheduled services again. Interestingly the times for Wednesdays tour Horsham > Oxford are on OTT http://www.opentraintimes.com/schedule/U59817/2015-12-02 but are not on RTT

Raised an incident ticket with the help desk re the no appearance of WCR services on RTT. Response I received

It seems there's a problem with how timetables are updating (or not, as it actually is) at the moment. It's known of and we're currently trying to resolve it.

    then a little while later.

Thanks for contacting us. We have now closed this ticket.

And as per the Cathex Horsham to Oxford thread, times are now appearing on RTT as usual.

Even then thats not the case.

This mornings moves in and out of Kings Cross were not on RTT in advance.

The inbound working only appeared early doors this morning, there was no return working at all.
It was only at 13:29 today that the return working appeared on RTT, by which point 1744 had already left at 13:02 and was indeed close to it's destination at Bounds Green. (The timings were activated at 13:19..)

Now the timings were known, including the enthusiast community.. i heard them 2 days ago...so STP yes and even VSTP.. but not too the extent that it was only known after departure to RTT.

RTT was not showing them at all.

    http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/O83468/2016/04/05/advanced
    Activated 05/04/2016 13:19

    London Kings Cross [KGX] 1257 1302 5L

    Now Open Train times..

Last night it wasn't showing the workings either. (I didn't check this morning)
However this afternoon the return working is showing as canceled.. no times displayed.

Is this an indication of network rail suppressing access to some timings in response to the Flying Scotsman trespass effect or is it just a cock up ?

There are also times when moves under local control do not appear on RTT, like the shunting moves at Carlisle, although they may appear in the timings issued to the TOC by NR.

Some STP's and especially VSTP's do not appear on RTT what so ever, as they have entered onto the system so late in the day or vitually last minute. Likewise, if a train goes "off route" it will not record either until it reappears on the booked route later on or reaches its final destination on the original schedule.

Be aware that RTT is looking to expand its activities and also create other income streams including access to some services via subscription. Further information is available on any RTT page or via this link: http://blog.realtimetrains.co.uk/
There is also a fund raising link at: https://secure.realtimetrains.co.uk/fundraising/

This message is just for information. Individuals can make up their own minds about how useful they find RTT and respond as they think appropriate.

I like the idea of live timings on preserved railways. If the time comes where a small subscription fee becomes paramount, I won't hesitate too subscribe.

Dotto is an American television game show that was a combination of a general knowledge quiz and the children's game connect the dots. Jack Narz served as the program's host, with Colgate-Palmolive as its presenting sponsor.

Dotto premiered on January 6, 1958 as part of CBS' daytime lineup. Due to its popularity, an accompanying weekly nighttime edition was launched on July 1, 1958 on CBS' competitor NBC on Tuesday nights. At the height of both shows' popularity, Dotto was abruptly cancelled without public explanation, during the week of August 18, 1958. Soon after, Dotto was publicly revealed to have been fixed by its producer, tarnishing the show's reputation and setting the stage for legal and political investigation of the fixing of 1950s quiz shows.

Dotto was for a short while very popular in the UK. I had a Dotto book which as in the TV show had join the dots drawings.
