    P.S. - And I thought I would just share a photograph . . . . . :).
Incidentally we had travelled on it the day before and thoroughly enjoyed our fourth trip.

Nice shot, looks like perfect conditions.
Good to see there is at least one lochside location without those damn railings.

The wider shot is reserved for the K1 within the next few weeks ;)

Just enjoying having a bit more of a chance to get up and about now. Sadly tomorrow's forecast isn't promising....

    Thanks for the compliments chaps!

Thanks chaps! Has been a stunning two days, but that's now me until the K1 takes over for the final week. Here's hoping for some of the same weather.

A quick heads up for anyone coming up next week (I know there's quite a few!). There's two sets of roadworks on the Mallaig road, replacing bridges. One at Glenfinnan summit, the other alongside Loch Eilt, so only a few miles apart. Both are traffic light controlled and take about 3 or 4 minutes to get through. Doesn't sound like much, but it means if you see the train leaving Glenfinnan, you won't catch it up until Polnish.

Thanks for the information, there were some roadworks alongside Loch Eilt last year but didn't give too much trouble. I think there are quite a few of the normal charter participants, including me, going up next week, should make the landlord of the Grog & Gruel happy.

It's the same thing this year, except there's two lots of works to contend with!

The Grog was busy last night, but only a few phottters in there. There haven't been many about the last few days, so chasing (and parking) hasn't been a problem. I bet next week will be a bit different!

Let's hope we get weather like this. Pictures from last year, the first time in 14 years I've been up there and didn't get wet all week.

The bash is normally the weekend before the final week of services, so people come up early. Plus next Saturday you have the SRPS railtour heading back south.
