    Looking at times on realtime this tour looks Diesel hauled rather than steam as no water stops showing plus if realtime is correct it comes back via the Cumbrian Coast

    I understand that Galatea and Leander are out of action this week for minor repairs, so with Scots Guardsman already down for the Dalesman and the Fellsman, perhaps the safe option has be chosen.

    Shame for the Hadrian customers but as stated its the safe option not to attempt 4 turns in a week for one loco. Alternatives thin on the ground too.
    Certainly a heavy workshop workload at Carnforth presently. Hopefully Bubbles will be permitted to return 45231 to traffic in the near future.

    45231's not been out since failing at Llangollen during Steel Steam & Stars IV and with the recent death of Bert Hitchen it's unknown what's happening regarding 45231 as we don't know if she's gonna be sold or if she will be returning to mainline action.

    I have been told that confusion regarding the Hadrian has arisen since Statesman are also running a charter from Leicester to Carlisle on the same day, this being the diesel hauled tour that is up on RTT.
    The times for the Hadrian are not yet available but should be similar to those on the RTC web site, Scots Guardsman is still in the frame for this.

    I have been told that No 9 will be on the Hadrian this weekend, on at Hellifield and off at Holgate on the return, the train will not be stopping in York.
