An article in this month's The Railway Magazine said Black Prince was back on the market. Hope it stays at the NNR whatever the outcome

Very interesting as always. No. 3 really does look almost there. So the urinal kind of clinches it that 853 is next not 295...It makes sense to get one set finished but it is 295 I really want to see in action (Great Eastern non-royal or inspection bogie coaches being roughly as common as rocking horse droppings)

Keep up the good work and thanks for the updates

ps looking forward to a ride in a 104 on the line in the not too distant future, even if it is a trailer initially. I grew up within sight of the Acle line to Yarmouth and it was mainly 104s and 105s in the late 70s and very early 80s

I don't know if this is of interest but there is another thread where a chap in S Yorks has 35 platform edging stones he wishes to dispose of (he's asking if they have any value). They look like they may be the same as those at Sheringham ie blue with a diamond tread. They may be common as muck, not the right ones or in the wrong place and he thinks they're worth more than they are but just in case they would be useful and are the correct ones I thought I'd post in here

Does anyone know how much longer 76084 and 44767 will be staying at the railway? Or is it still under discussion with the owning groups?

There was an Eastern Daily Press article released today:

    Engine Steams Home... EDP

The loco was also running test trains (2 mark 1's) yesterday after some brake-work. I can't see a return to regular service being too far off all being well...

Id just like to say I've had a really enjoyable day out today at what I have to say is my second favorite railway. (The SVR is and always be my first love!) 76084 was superb, and I have to say I really was impressed by the quads. Fantastic rake of stock and the execbition at Holt is wonderful. Now for the 'But!' I was there for last years Diesel Gala and what a fanastic event it was but I've asked and emailed twice about 'D is for Diesel' poster with D306 on it. I dont mind that they might not have any but today there was a bucket going round, and Im more than happy to put my hand in my pocket, but I did think twice about sticking a few quid in Weybourne Traction Groups bit. A reply dosnt cost much!

So, just out of interest, the NNR Summer season fleet will be the B12, Y14, Black Prince, 76084 and 45337? With Mayflower when it's not in use on the main line?
