    It was a shame that the best of the weather co-incided with my stint behind the Real Ale Bar. Most of my favourite shots ended up being those taken last thing Sunday night in the yard at Ropley

    It's good to see 21B's response that the railway was pleased with the results of the gala.
    I must say it didn't feel as busy as some previous galas (from the RAT anyway), yet the Ropley carpark looked very full on Saturday & Sunday.
    Nellie's (brake) failure on Satuday afternoon was a shame, but it did mean that we got the last run on Saturday behind Wadebridge, which I must say sounded far better than she did last year.

    That's great news. It was very busy on Friday as the trains were well loaded especially when the nasty weather arrived.
    Talking of Galas will the railway be operating to a Gala timetable on the 2nd October for the 150th Anniversary?

    Was a great gala, wasnt expecting much compared to last year but had a brilliant time. This has to be the best photo of mine taken on Saturday its amazing how much the weather changed during the day.
