Crikey, that's a bit of a change. Interesting exercise for anyone who had intended boarding at Kings Cross.

Deleted as now not needed in the knowledge that the route was always planned from Cambridge.

It always has been Cambridge to York, just recorded incorrectly on UK Steam.

Thats a weird one, timings are all over the show, 51 minutes early at one point after a missed booked wait, and now 35 late through waterbeach. Is it having trouble getting water?

My grandad was on the train. He said the chap to unlock the gate for the tanker at Ely didn't show up so loco had to run round.

Maybe Because you have to find a new place for the tanker to park, you have to get in touch with the signalman to to move the loco, you have decouple the loco, you have to move the loco, you have to fill the loco, you have get in touch with the signal man to move the loco, you have to move the loco, you have recouple the loco, you have to get in touch with the signalman to move the train.

    And then you depart.

Edit - And all that is after you have waited for the key holder to arrive, and chased NR to find out if the key holder is arriving.
