He turned in a great performance Salisbury to Waterloo on one of the 9th July runs. 80 minutes net time. Pete is a very good engineman who of course knows how to handle Tangmere

The passengers certainly had a good day today weather-wise. It may have been sunshine all the way from the south coast to Bristol.

The train looked beautiful in the glorious winter sunlight.

Bapton Manor, Wiltshire was extremely nice with Corston Hill, Bath a close 2nd. :)

It was good to see KristianGWR and his father today. <BJ>

I was on that trip and remember that superb run and also passing the site of Nine Elms MPD when he blew a solemn blast on his whistle in recognition of it being host to the last main line London steam depot and where he spent his last BR steam days before it all came to an end on 9th July 1967. It was quite an emotional gesture by Pete Roberts, a fine steam engine man indeed.

Tangmere was running 2 mins late through Keynsham, Bristol at 17:42. The 37 was not assisting.
The train has now been reported running 5 mins late at Freshford, to the south of Bath. <BJ>

I saw her at Cosham and she thundered past. Must of been doing the max line speed of 60mph. Great showing from the Bulleid

Saw it going through Havant, seemed to be losing a hell of a lot of steam out of the front! Con rods sounded interesting as well.

Hi Mr K! Great video's as always.

Hate to be pedantic, but I think Part 1 is at Clayton Tunnel, not Balcombe.

Was thinking of venturing into Sussex today, but will probably do that next Wednesday. Froze my nuts off at Ely instead.

You are right - I knew it was Clayton Tunnel, don't ask me why I put Balcombe.

My footage of yesterday's run. Seen at Lockerley, Corston and Dilton Marsh.

Thanks. Despite the rising smoke, it's actually my favourite of the three :)

And I like the night sequence best! Something about a steam loco working into the night.
