I imagine that virtually all of the track is BR and GWR - there are definately many chairs stamped GWR. Doesn't mean to say that it hasn't been relaid, packed, tamped, ballast cleaned and renewed, rails turned, sleepers replaced etc.

Somewhat of a "cheat" but the visit of a Totton based MPV on weedkiller duties this morning meant they had to empty the sidings. So there are 5 in this image, although only one is in steam.[ATTACH]

The flailing stuff I'm sure does cause concern, I have seen videos of people flapping about with a significant portion of their upper body out of the window. As mentioned it's quite difficult to separate those who can make responsible decisions...
