Confirmed Leander on front and diesel on rear after Hellifield. No diesel pilot.

You jumped ship too quick, it's just gone through Horton in Ribblesdale with the diesel on the back.

Is leander coming off at Carnforth due to that occurring with the T.P.W.S. Equip failing or staying on for the return leg to Manchester.

Getting off the train ensured that the day was a shambles. Better luck next time. <BJ>

Well I went on the north Britain last year when a diesel had to pilot tornado from Belmont yard with a T.P.W.S. Problem and a steward on that train told us the diesel might have been detached, however it didn't happen and that's why because someone told me the battery went flat on Leander today. I asked he steward can it be fixed no he said the batteries have to be charged at 10A so I lost hope but can the batteries on the T.P.W.S. equipment be charged from a diesel hooked on the front of a loco anyone know? Unless it was another issue with the T.P.W.S. equipment.
