Not quite my news any more, but if anyone's interested:

    ************

(From Mark Smith, Heritage Railway Association)

I am delighted to confirm that the HERITAGE RAILWAY INTERPRETATION AWARD will be awarded to the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway for the setting up of a Museum dedicated to the interpretation and explanation of the narrow gauge railway systems, the placing of Caernarfon in this context and providing conservation facilities, in an accessible and family friendly manner.

The Association's Awards Committee will write to you formally in the next few days but in the meantime you are welcome to share the above with your members and others you would like to know.

    Congratulations!

    Mark L Smith
    Vice Chairman, HRA
