Half term is nearly over, so apart from Halloween and Santa/mince pie trains, that's 2011 season over.

Soooo, what is there to look forward to next year?

    Anyone going to tell?

Mr T? Are Bill & Ben going to be running next year and shunting the new Harbour layout?

    Henry? any surprises from Statfold?

Is Corris going to have thier new coach running?

its this time of year when I think the most interesting stuff happens so please can people share the news?

It's the year of Blaenau 30, and more slate waggons will be restored, doesn't get much more exciting than that. Hugh Napier might get a run out I suppose, a meeting with Edward Sholto could be quite nice.

Bill should be back with us in the not-too-distant future.
Preliminary Cob widening work has already started. See festrail.co.uk or the F&WHR Facebook page for details.

    Watch this space!

Suffice to say that "Bronllwyd" will be back in action, fully overhauled, for our March Enthusiast Day.

She (he?) wont be Bronllwyd though!!

the Talyllyn should also be operating away from Tywyn for the first time ever and with one of the original engines at the SSS gala at Llangollen.

we will have a refurbished carriage in the form of 21 which is being done by our friends at the FR

Number 3 will run its last trains before overhaul.

Number 6 will be coming back into service following its long overhaul.

hopefully one of our new Diesels will get to test there new 2' 3" wheels and be seen out and about on the line... but in what colour?
