Many thanks for correcting me, but I think it would have made a fine sight.

Hmm I'm no gardener Robin, but that Croquet lawn of yours could do with a little trim! :);):);)

  5. My apologies. After taking advice I have removed the Williton webcam streams from wsr.org.uk whilst a technical matter is discussed and resolved. I'm very hopeful the imagery will return to the website very soon.

The two things that immediately struck me when the cam went live was the exposure of the bungalows (in particular the children in one) and conversations of staff and residents. Prior to installation I queried the issue of sound and was told that 'they' were the most popular for viewers. Wonderful as they are and eagerly awaited by me and many others it is a little disturbing if the bungalow occupants are unaware that they are being live-streamed across the world

Which camera is referenced here? I don't recall any WSR cameras including any bungalows in their field of view.

Swing the camera to the right by 10 degrees, turn sound off, and problem solved ??

Most CCTV or PTZ cameras allow you to add a electronic mask to obscure areas of the image - or you add a physical mask or flag to ensure privacy...

10 degrees to the right would be good as it would cover more of the station, but it would put the bungalow in a more prominent position in the image.
A better option might be to mount the camera at a lower vantage point so that the station buildings would hide the bungalow.

    Thanks, Robin.
At that distance & angle, I can't imagine anyone perceiving a 'problem' - but if so, maybe lowering the camera just an inch or so would be enough to resolve it.

Is that where BR got the idea for their coach livery?
