How many points for dislodging the safety valve bonnet with a single, well-aimed strike?

Better make sure there is a"Stop Board" across the hole in the wall - one iffy shot after a few glasses and you'll be trying to play back from under the bridge... :Wacky:;)

I haven't played croquet since I was a child . I used to cut the grass at the local vicarage where the vicar Cannon Hall and his elder brother Bishop Hall lived . ey had an ancient tiny Atco lawn mower that should have been in a museum even 50+ years ago and as payment they gave me a hammering at croquet since .

    Hi Anthony,

Regarding postage stamps, with so many post offices closing or relocating to the nearest Poundland, I buy my books of stamps at the supermarket when doing the weekly shop.

On your other query, in the recent report of the board meeting held in May the locomotive was referred to as 'Braunton' so I hope that she will run as 34046.

    Stef.

I have a bloody great big Atco Royale (24 inch cut IIRC). Sensible offers if anyone is interested. I think having 5 mowers is possibly one or two too many. All proceeds to a good railway cause.

I learnt the game at Uni. We played at the Anglican Chaplain's summer garden parties. Usually the game went on all night, as we'd turn up with a set of high power lights and floodlight his garden. The rose beds made for interesting hazards!!

One thing, Robin. Six mallets, six balls, only two glasses?

Of course if you want to put in a bit more please feel free. The wood will be ordered next week and the brake should move to Williton very soon.
