Just a quick note to all that these are both going ahead. We have rostered 5043 on both of them, so all you Castle fans need to get out of bed and join us on either or both excursion.

If there are any further updates, we will let you know.

    Cheers!

    Ben - VT

If only Birmingham were a few miles further south and your destinations were Exeter and Bath - also lovely cities. Definitely the time to be Midlands based.

Don't want to tempt fate, but...could we see a repeat of last year but with a Castle & a Duchess instead!

Thanks Ben. Now booked on the York trip.
No mileage behind a Castle this year yet and new track.

Wasn't the Lincoln trip originally rostered for 4965?

If this tour was running would something not be on realtime trains or can network Rail release the times on the day

There's a known issue with RTT at the moment. Some charters are not showing up - see the thread about RTT pinned to the top of this section.

Only option would be to go on last year's timings.

You mean the infallible RTT is not so accurate after all? I am shocked and stunned......he said dripping with sarcasm and disdain.

We are definitely running and going on last years times for the morning would be a get you close. The evening return is a little different.

Outward trip is mostly on RTT but no platform designations or anything. Any info on the return times?
