    I went on Saturday, a good day despite atrocious weather. A fantastic line up of locomotives on display, they will do well to top it next year.

    It was good to see Les Ross' Class 86 up close, may not be steam but still a wonderful preserved machine. The photo shows Les and Bob Meanley re-naming it to it's original title 'Peter Pan', though the other side still carries Les' name.

    Also thanks to the Duke of Gloucester guys for having the footplate open. 5043 is the engine of the right, I didn't notice at the time but the rods are off - presumably repairs are on going, it wasn't in steam for the weekend.
