Hey just a quick note to inform you passenger trains have returned to Oswestry this weekend after a four-year gap.

Hauled by 0-4-0 diesel 'Telemon' http://www.cambrianrailwayssociety.co.uk/rollingstock/telemon.html, for a £1 fare, passengers can enjoy ride in LMS brake van M732435 http://www.cambrianrailwayssociety.co.u ... _2056.html from the 'fish dock' bay platform to Middleton Road bridge.

Services will operate today [Sunday] and again tomorrow [Easter Monday].

I have some pics & have also drafted a press release, which I will share later - got to dash off to Oswestry & Llynclys in a moment - but it's enough to say early indications are that the operation has been well-received, with much goodwill generated in the community :)

..Meanwhile, 'Easter Bunny' trains are in operation at CHR Llyclys today http://www.cambrianrailways.com/ .

    Hope it's of interest :)
