Due to heavy flooding on the Conwy Valley line on 16th March in different locations the trackbed has been severely damaged in some places (but where exactly on the line I'm not sure) and may not be repaired in time for the Welsh Mountaineer tour from Preston via Manchester to Blaenau Ffestiniog. NR estimate work to be complete on this line the latest in July (Full story on Rail Advent news) I've booked my seat on this trip but not heard anything from RTC about postponing or cancelling the tour. Anybody who else on NP who may be booked on this trip have you heard anything from NR or RTC. Davo 56F.

Yes but N.R. Estimate the shoring up of the earthworks could be as late as July John I'm just concerned any others on NP who have booked this tour may be doubting NR estimated timescale for completing repairs on the route. We will see anyhow if RTC Offer us refunds or not within the coming months.

Don't ask on here. Wait for the RTC to tell you.

It's scheduled for 23rd July so RTC will not bother making any announcements one way or the other until a lot closer to the date. Patience is required, I doubt if anyone else is worried at the moment.
