    Yes I am an active volunteer
    I thought I would start a thread on the Settle Carlisle line as I have always had an interest in it and it has been a big part of the preservation of steam. Some of my family worked on it. My father was a fireman on it for a short while and Grandfather a driver for many years (approx 1930s to 60s) from Hellifield and later Skipton shed.

    So please put anything here, either stories about the lines past/present or future
